PORTIA CAYENNE AFIRE I've been on and off the fence about rehoming Portia for several years and am looking for the perfect situation for her. Portia has many years of professional training and was shown before we purchased in 2016 (second level dressage/schooling third, shown Halter, Pleasure Hunter+, flat classes). 15.1HH (barefoot) Reg. AHA Purebred Arabian, with noteworthy breeding. Own Daughter of Justafire DGL, and a Granddaughter of Numaa++. Correct conformation, and lovely movement. When younger had been valued at $25,000. Was evaluated as a PSG, National level horse by international Judges. DNA typed, and Sweepstakes Nominated. Since we have had Portia, she's been used by different ages and levels of riders. Beginners (starting out on a lead rope)-Novice riders with lessons and/or supervision, along with intermediate+ riders (on their own after they have shown they can work independently). Portia has no special needs or health issues (no medications, injections, treatments, etc.). She is all up to date on shots (flu/tet), de-worming, hoof trim, dental. Great for vetting (getting shots, blood draws, x-rays, pelvic exams, wellness exams), farrier (can hold foot up with one finger). Easy to be around, groom, tack up, etc. Appreciates soft hands and works off your seat with a knowledgeable rider that is in sync with her. Like to see her with a partner that will dote over her, since she enjoys attention and enjoys having a job. Portia gets along with other horses, or she can be by herself (when it is time to go back to the barn, she trots right up to you to be haltered). She's tidy in her stall and paddock area and likes to stay clean (even her 4 white socks). I have lots of videos you can watch if you come over (sorry, videos don't download well enough to send). Multiple visits to get familiar with Portia and ride will be welcome (with serious prospective purchasers), along with your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation, etc. A trainer was just recently over, and she did beautifully with all of her handling and riding, from start to finish. An assortment of blankets, leather halter with her name engraved, hood, bell boots, leg wraps, rope and nylon halters, lead ropes+ go with her. My first choice of partners for Portia is a confident intermediate rider that can ride her regularly, use to full potential, rather than sporadic riding. $6850/cash (firm), to a great home and partner. No trades, etc. Price subject to change, with the assistance of outside marketing and/or services. Please call (three-six-zero) 366-3631 (land line, no text) for more information. Thank you.
